Frank serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Hennessey Capital a technology-based specialty finance company. Frank formerly was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of MascoTech, Inc, a $1.7 billion manufacturing company. Prior to becoming CEO of Mascotech, Inc. Frank was Chairman and CEO of Emco Limited, a $1.4 billion Canadian distribution and manufacturing company, and prior to that Executive Vice President of Masco Corporation.Prior to joining Masco Corporation, Frank was the Chief Executive Officer of the Handleman Company, a $700 million distribution company. His nine years with Handleman were preceded by experience as group Managing Partner of Coopers and Lybrand’s Detroit Group offices.
Frank received his bachelor of science from Northeastern University in Boston. Among his many and varied activities, Frank is on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Audit Committee of DTE Energy; Past Advisory Board Member for StartUpNation L.L.C. and SmartCollector Holdings L.L.C.; Past Director of New Detroit, Inc.; Trustee of the American Business Conference; Past Director of the Citizen’s Research Council of Michigan; Past Trustee of the Hudson-Webber Foundation; Past Director and Past Chairman of the Japan America Society of Greater Detroit and Windsor; Past Chairman of the Detroit Regional Chamber and member of its Executive Committee.
